We started Energix Flareon in 2018 because we kept seeing the same problem. Companies would launch software that looked great on paper but fell apart when actual users got their hands on it. Someone had to bridge that gap between what developers build and what people actually need.
That's what we do. Manual testing might sound old-fashioned in an age of automation, but here's the thing – automated tests only catch what you program them to look for. Real users? They do unexpected things. They click buttons in weird orders. They type unusual characters. They get frustrated when things don't make sense.
How We Actually Got Here
Our founder, Kanya Srisawat, spent eight years as a QA lead at a software company in Bangkok. She watched countless launches where critical bugs slipped through automated testing. The kind that made customers call support, leave bad reviews, or just quietly switch to competitors.
The pattern was clear. Automated tests checked technical requirements. But they missed the human experience – confusing interfaces, unclear error messages, workflows that made no logical sense to anyone outside the development team.
So in early 2018, Kanya started taking on manual testing projects for smaller companies that couldn't afford full QA departments. The work grew faster than expected. Turns out, a lot of businesses needed someone to actually use their software like a real person would.

We create test cases that cover expected functionality. But we also spend time exploring – trying unusual input combinations, testing edge cases, seeing what happens when users don't follow the happy path. Some of the most critical bugs show up when you're not following a script.

Finding bugs is only half the job. We document each issue with specific reproduction steps, environment details, and severity assessment. Developers shouldn't have to guess what went wrong or spend hours trying to recreate a problem we already found.

Our team has grown to twelve testers, each bringing different perspectives from various industry backgrounds. That diversity matters because different people catch different issues.
Why Our Team Structure Works
We don't believe in assembly-line testing where people mechanically follow scripts. Each tester understands the full context of projects they work on. They know the business goals, the target users, and the technical constraints.
Our testers come from backgrounds in customer service, technical support, software development, and user experience design. Some are detail-oriented people who spot tiny inconsistencies. Others are big-picture thinkers who catch workflow problems. We deliberately mix different thinking styles on each project.
Three members of our team have backgrounds in accessibility testing – they help ensure your software works for users with various abilities and assistive technologies. Two specialize in mobile testing across different devices and operating systems. The rest bring expertise in web applications, desktop software, and API testing.
